By booking a repair or purchasing products from us, you agree to this policy.

2. REPAIR SERVICE PAYMENTS

Payments for repair services may include:

  • Diagnostic fees
  • Labour charges
  • Replacement part costs
  • Shipping or collection charges
  • Deposits for special-order parts

All quoted prices are subject to device inspection and confirmation.

3. DIAGNOSTIC FEES

Diagnostic fees are generally non-refundable once diagnostic work has begun.

This applies even if:

  • The customer declines the repair
  • The device is deemed beyond economical repair
  • Parts become unavailable
  • The device cannot be repaired successfully

Diagnostic charges cover technician time, testing procedures, and assessment work.

4. REPAIR REFUNDS

Due to the nature of repair services, completed labour charges are generally non-refundable once repair work has been successfully carried out.

Refunds may be considered where:

  • A repair was not completed as agreed
  • Incorrect parts were installed
  • The repair service materially failed
  • A warranty issue cannot be resolved through re-repair or replacement

Any refund decision is made following inspection and verification by our technicians.

5. WARRANTY RESOLUTION PROCESS

Where a repair issue falls within warranty coverage, Tech Lifers Limited reserves the right to:

  • Re-inspect the device
  • Re-repair the device
  • Replace defective components
  • Offer partial or full refund where appropriate

Refunds are not automatically issued if a repair issue can reasonably be resolved through warranty service.

6. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS & SERVICES

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Diagnostic fees
  • Successfully completed labour
  • Special-order parts
  • Shipping fees
  • Collection fees
  • Software services
  • Devices with liquid damage
  • Devices with motherboard damage where repair attempts were authorised

7. PARTS & ACCESSORY RETURNS

Unused accessories or products purchased directly from us may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery, subject to:

  • Item being unused
  • Original packaging being intact
  • No signs of damage or installation
  • Proof of purchase being provided

Certain items may be excluded from return eligibility for hygiene, security, or supplier reasons.

Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

8. SPECIAL-ORDER PARTS

Deposits or payments for special-order or custom-sourced parts may be non-refundable once the order has been placed with suppliers.

This includes rare, OEM, or limited-availability components sourced specifically for a customer repair.

9. CANCELLATIONS

Customers may cancel a repair booking before repair work or part ordering begins.

Once:

  • Repair work has started
  • Diagnostics have begun
  • Parts have been ordered
  • Collection or shipping has been arranged

…reasonable charges may still apply.

10. SHIPPING & TRANSIT ISSUES

Customers are responsible for securely packaging mail-in devices.

Tech Lifers Limited is not responsible for devices lost or damaged in transit to us.

For return shipments organised by us, liability is limited to the compensation coverage provided by the selected courier service.

Customers should report shipping issues immediately upon delivery.

11. REFUND PROCESSING TIMES

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days.

Processing times may vary depending on:

  • Payment provider
  • Banking institution
  • Payment method used

12. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Customers agree to contact Tech Lifers Limited first to attempt resolution before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may be challenged with supporting repair records, communications, diagnostics, photographs, and delivery confirmation evidence.

13. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any statutory rights available under applicable UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Returns Policy at any time.
